In Italy, Sangiovese is the main ingredient of Chianti, where it is blended with many local Italian Grapes. We have blended it with our local grape - Zinfandell, in an effort to bring you a wine with very individual, but very memorable characteristics. The aromas are rich and jammy, with overtones of cocoa and coffee. The flavors are rich and full with the finesse of Sangiovese, and the powerful berry fruit of the Zinfandel.
One of our flagship wines. Made from grapes grown on one of the best Barbera sites in California. It produces small bunches of tuny berries which make a rich, satisfying wine of an incredible depth of flavors, and aromas to match.
The shy-bearing old vines of this vineyard produce a wine with intense fruity flavors of plum, mulberry and cocoa. Rich, satisfying and very versatile.
