In Italy, Sangiovese is the main ingredient of Chianti, where it is blended with many local Italian Grapes. We have blended it with our local grape - Zinfandell, in an effort to bring you a wine with very individual, but very memorable characteristics. The aromas are rich and jammy, with overtones of cocoa and coffee. The flavors are rich and full with the finesse of Sangiovese, and the powerful berry fruit of the Zinfandel.
A brilliant Moscato with flavors and aromas suggesting ripe summer peaches and fruit compote. Zesty and slightly sweet with an enticing crisp spritziness make this wine the perfect party starter.
This Pinot Noir exhibits classic aromas of black cherry and bright raspberry. Light to medium bodied, bursting with fruit flavors and hints of cedar, this selection pairs perfectly with seared salmon, grilled quail, or a simple mushroom risotto.
This lovely wine is a rich example of the our ongoing Zinfandel style. The wine is full bodied and only moderately tannic with beautiful structure and strong fruit. The flavors are complex, and the finish is long and satisfying. This wine is extremely versatile, light enough to accompany any lunch fare, yet a perfect companion to pastas, roasts, steaks and cheeses.
This grape is normally part of our Cabernet blend. But this vintage is one of those outstanding years when the grape can stand alone. Lush and velvety, slightly herbal, with a black raspberry fruitiness.
This port is a blend of several varieties. It is rich and complex. The flavors match the aromas with suggestions of blackberry, cocoa, caraway and cassis.
